What we do, and how each part works
Linen rental, laundering, delivery and collection, and a portal for your account. They are sold together as one service at one rate for each item delivered.
We are a new company. Our first linen programs start in 2027, and we are taking enquiries now.
Linen rental
We own the linen. For each client we size a pool to the program, buy it, and hold it for that client. Sheets and pillow slips are a polyester and cotton blend made for commercial laundering.
- Sheets and top sheets, in the sizes your properties use
- Pillow slips
- Bath towels, hand towels and face washers
- Bath mats
- Pool towels
- Tea towels
Worn and damaged pieces
Pieces that wear out or are damaged in normal use are taken out of use and replaced. Your pool stays the same size.
Stocktakes
We take stock of the pool each quarter. Linen that has gone missing is replaced and charged on the basis set in your agreement.
Other items
If you use something that is not on this list, ask us.
Laundering
Sorting and counting
Soiled linen is sorted and counted at our plant. Your teams put it in the bags and cages we provide. They do not sort or count it.
Washing and finishing
Each load is washed and dried. Sheets and pillow slips are ironed, and towels are folded.
Inspection
Every piece is inspected before it is packed. Pieces that are marked go back to be washed again, and pieces that are worn or damaged are withdrawn.
Bundles
Clean linen is packed in bundles: a fixed number of one item, labelled. You order and receive whole bundles, so a delivery can be checked by counting bundles.
Delivery and collection
Where
We deliver to your linen rooms, which we call delivery points. We do not deliver to individual properties.
When
On weekday mornings, on a schedule that is fixed for each delivery point and agreed with you at the start.
Ordering
Orders close at 2 pm on the working day before each delivery. The order for a Monday delivery closes on the Friday.
Collection
On the same visit we collect soiled linen and empty cages, and the docket is signed with your contact.
Outside the schedule
Same-day and Saturday deliveries are not part of the standard service. For an urgent need, telephone us or send an urgent-need report in the portal. Collection from our depot by one person you nominate can be arranged by prior approval. Deliveries on a public holiday are by arrangement.
The client portal
Each user you name has their own login and sees your organisation's records only.
- StockYour pool, item by item, and how much of it is in each place now: at our depot, arriving this afternoon, in the wash, or with you.
- Tomorrow's orderWhat will be available in the morning, and your order for each delivery point, in whole bundles, up to what is available.
- Delivery scheduleThe fixed weekly schedule, the month by date, and when each order closes.
- Dockets and invoicesEvery signed docket, and the weekly invoice built from them, item by item.
- Report a problemA reject, a short or over bundle, a late delivery, something at the delivery point, or an urgent need. Each report is logged with its status.
If the portal is unavailable, deliveries carry on with paper dockets and we take orders by telephone.
