Terms

For this website and the client portal.

Draft. This page has not yet been reviewed by our lawyers. Remove this note once it has.

These terms cover the use of this website and of the Seafold client portal. The website and the portal are operated by Seafold Pty Ltd (ACN 702 984 236), trading as Seafold Linen & Laundry. In these terms "we" and "us" mean that company.

Our services

Linen rental, laundering and delivery are supplied under a written agreement between us and each client. That agreement sets the items, the delivery points, the rates, how linen is counted and replaced, and how either of us may end it. If anything on this website differs from a client's agreement, the agreement applies.

Descriptions of the service on this website are general. They are not an offer to supply on any particular terms.

Invoices and payment

How we invoice and when invoices are payable are set out in each client's agreement.

Using the client portal

The portal is for people a client has named as its users. Each user has their own login. Keep your password to yourself and tell us at once if you think someone else has used your login. A client is responsible for orders and reports made under its users' logins, and for telling us when a user should no longer have access.

Do not try to see another organisation's records, interfere with the portal, or use it for anything other than managing your linen program with us.

We aim to keep the portal available, but we do not promise that it always will be. If it is unavailable, deliveries carry on with paper dockets and orders are taken by telephone.

Information on this website

We take care that this website is accurate and up to date, but it is general information and may change. Where the portal is shown with sample or illustrative figures, those figures are examples only.

Our liability

Nothing in these terms removes or limits any right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot be excluded. Subject to that, and to a client's agreement, we are not liable for loss arising from the use of this website or from the portal being unavailable.

Privacy

How we handle personal information is set out on our Privacy page.

Disputes and the law that applies

If you have a concern, contact us first and we will try to resolve it with you directly. These terms are governed by the law of Queensland, Australia.

Changes

We may change these terms by publishing a new version on this page.
